Procedure Details
Phase 1: Pre-Arrival
Ensure all necessary hardware and software are ready for the new employee. Send a welcome package with company swag.
- Prepare workstation (desk, chair, computer).
- Create all necessary system accounts (email, intranet, etc.).
- Assign a buddy or mentor.
Phase 2: First Day
Welcome the new employee and introduce them to the team. Provide an office tour and an overview of the company culture.
Phase 3: First Week
Schedule meetings with key team members and department heads. Start initial training and assign a small first project.
